| The day started off with putting in the floor joists for the deck and floor of the observatory. Here the first one is being leveled off. |

The final check with the plum bob to ensure that the deck in perfectly centred on the future pier. |
| And the process of laying in the boards for the floor begins. The front section of the deck will form a short deck that is outside the actual observatory. |
