In the morning, we completed the work on the other ribs of the dome. Here is a shot looking through the slit.

In the afternoon, we worked on preparing the top wall ring. The first step was to mark the top and bottom rings so that when they were separated, the wall studs would end up being plum. The next bit of work was to install all of the castors that will allow for the dome to rotate. In all, there are 23 castors, each with four holes that needed to be drilled, four bolts and a total of 12 nuts to a single castor. The numbers are 92 bolts and 276 nuts. Also in the picture, you can see sets of two screws that will be screwed into the top of the wall studs.
