This is a shot of the new shutter pully system on the right side of the slit. Notice the single pulley. |
| This is a shot of the new shutter motor and windlass installed. You can also see the pulley system on both the left and right side of the slot. The blue rope was being used to close the shutter manually before I re-installed the shutter cabling. |

A shot of the new pulley system on the left side of the slot. Notice the double pulleys. |
| A second shot of the new pulley system on the left side of the slot, just further up. |

A first closeup of the new shutter double pulley from the side. |
| A closeup of the same double pulley from the front of the dome. Notice how the middle part of the new pulley system covers the first cable, but opens up to aid the placement of the second cable during opening and closing. |

A final shot of the new pulley system. This is a shot of the shutter in a partially open state to display how the cable gets laid into the pulley. When going in the opposite direction, the cable from the underside of the "cable-T" gets laid into the pulley, such that there is always two cables on this double pulley system, except for the brief amount of time while the "cable-T" is passing over it. |
